SDC128: Anything Goes

Can you believe it's December already?  Only 21 days until Christmas, so if you haven't done your shopping for some new Stampotique stamps, you might want to hope over and order them now.

We will only be hosting one challenge this month, giving the team a chance to enjoy the holidays with their family and friends.  And I'm giving you a super easy challenge this month-Anything Goes.  No themes, no problem.  I love these type of challenges as it gives me a chance to just have fun creating whatever I want to.

Can't wait to see what you create this month, we'll be sharing a few more creations from the team over the next few weeks here, but will run the same challenge all month long.

We want to take this opportunity to thank you for support of Stampotique and of our design team.  We can not thank you all enough for all your comments, support, sharing of your wonderful creations.

We also want to thank our outgoing design team members, wishing them the best of luck, but know we'll continue to see them around.

2014 Design Team Announcement

With 2013 coming to a close in a few short weeks and the year starts to slow down a little for us to enjoy some family and friends for the holidays, we also reflect back on a wonderful year for Stampotique.

Our Stampotique family has grown with each and every design team member, challenge participant and fans.  We are always excited when we see new players in the challenges, or hear stories of how much someone loves the new line of Stampotique stamps.  We appreciate each and every one of you for your business and support.

We held an open call a few months ago for our new 2014 design team and while we could not chose everyone for the team-we chose the designers we felt fit best with what we were looking for in 2014.  If you did not make it, please know it was not due to us not liking your work, we love all Stampotique designs and we hope that you will apply again with the next call.

We will have 2 teams going into 2014 so please make sure to jump on over to the Stampotique Designers Blog where our team of 7 will be posting their creations daily to share with you.

Today, we share with your our team for the Stampotique Designer's Challenge.

Introducing our new additions to the team first:

My name is Corrie Herriman, I am 52 and I live in Venlo in the Netherlands which is right on the border with Germany. I stopped working in 2010 when my husband took early retirement so we could enjoy life a bit more. I have been crafting for most of my life but fell in love with papercraft and especially stamping in 2012. You will find me in my craftroom, which I call 'Stamping HQ', most days. Apart from papercraft I like reading, walking, camping and cooking ! I am also a foodie and love a glass of red wine.

I'm a native New Yorker living in New Jersey with my husband, daughter, and two cats. I've been papercrafting since June 27, 2000 and stamping since July 2001. My style is "layered clean eclectic" ranging from edgy to whimsical depending on my mood. I'm thrilled to be a part of Stampotique's fabulous design team.

Though relatively new to the world of art journaling, I have been scrapbooking and cardmaking for more than a dozen years.  I have served two terms on the Design Team of the international website "Let's Scrap" and serve now as a Contributing Design Team member there.  I am also currently an Author and Artist at Scrapbooking.com Magazine, and have been a Contributing Artist at Enchanting Creations Magazine.  I have been most recently published in Just Steampunk Magazine.  While all this looks good on paper, my passion and creative spirit was sparked when, last February, I bought my first Stampotique Originals' stamp--that of "Mary!"  I am thrilled to have been chosen to be on the Stampotique Design Team, serving with artists from around the world to challenge creativity.  I live with my husband Russ and rescued dog Jake in the Boston Area.

My name is Kristen Catalano, I live in Nashua, New Hampshire and I work as a nurse. I live with my husband Paul, and my two children; Abbey, 11 and Ryan, 6 and our dog Remy.

I started as a scrapbooker many years ago, but have since have become a card maker and now I completely enjoy altered media and journaling.  My favorite supplies are stamps, sprays, and paints.  If I don’t end up messy by the time I am done crafting, I wasn’t productive.

I wish I could tell you what my “style” is, but I am still trying to figure that out myself.  I guess I could say that I am cutesy with a dark side….LOL.   I look forward to sharing my creations with you.

Tanja Kewel-Neef

Hi, it’s me. Tanja. I live in Germany together with my dear hubby, little daughter and son. I' m a crafty girl since I don’t know when. I’ve done this and that but the moment I held a stamp in my hands I was lost and now I’m addicted to stamping. I can’t imagine a life without stamps or without being creative. No way!.
Now I’am a part of the Stampotique Family and I feel very honored.

Arwen McCullen

My name is Arwen and I live with my daughter and three cats in a village in Germany.

Creativity has determined my whole life.

2004 I discovered rubberstamps and fell in love with.

At first I just stamped cutie stuff, but for some time my heart belongs to the gloomy;)

When I discovered Stampotique a few years ago, I immediately lost my heart to this great motives.

I also love scrapbooking, reading, movies, music, sewing, writing.

I am married to David and have one daughter, Natasha who is married to Lewis and my first Grandchild is due at Easter!

I have been rubber stamping for over 20 years and Scrapbooking for about 7 years.

I have been a runner up for Scrapbooker of the Year twice in the last few years and  my work has been published in a selection of publications such as Scrapbook Magazine and Craft Stamper. Just recently I have written, photographed and designed a three part series on Scrapbooking your family heritage for Scrapbook Magazine.

I have done a live radio interview for BBC radio, for women's hour, on Scrapbooking. I have taught classes for a number of shops, and run workshops locally as well.

I also enjoy researching my family history and photography, which all fits in with my love of rubber stamping and Scrapbooking!
and our returning members include:

Hi, I am Carol. I enjoy nothing more than making a mess and walking away with my hands covered in ink. I am lucky enough to be on the Team of the UK magazine Craft Stamper, and in 2013 I was very happy to be asked join the in-store tutors of a UK Craft Store and I now teach on a regular basis, which is a dream come true for me. I have thoroughly enjoyed my last 18 months on the Stampotique Design Team and I was very happy when I was invited to remain for the next term.

Sue Davies

Hi, my name's Sue, also known as Sue The Iron. I've been crafting for a few years now, but never make anything that doesn't involve stamping. I'm delighted to be continuing with the Stampotique Design Team as I love these quirky stamps.

Kaz Boughton

To say I'm excited to still be on the Stampotique DT is a slight understatement! From the moment I bought my first stamp, Moth Fab, I was hooked. The weird and wacky world of Stampotique fits me perfectly - I tried to be normal once, but it didn't work out!

I started making cards in 2003 as I was finding it more and more difficult to get out to the shops to buy cards for my friends and family, due to being ill with M.E. since 1999. I didn't know I had anything creative in me, but I fancied having a go and it was the best thing I ever did. I try to do a little something everyday as this is my therapy. I like nothing better than flicking through the book where I have stamped my Stampotique's to see where they lead me. It's usually somewhere fun! And messy! What's not to love?

Sam Read

I live in England with Poppy, she's a wonderful Miniature Schnauzer, my best friend and muse. I find inspiration for projects whilst out walking her in the beautiful countryside on my doorstep. I also get a lot of inspiration from childhood memories and songs often get my creative juices flowing and I love anything to do with moon!

My absolute paper passion is rubber stamping.  I've been fascinated by stamps since I was a child, I'd be captivated by the lady at the post office stamping letters.  My spare bedroom has become my studio and is filled with literally hundreds of stamps!  In my opinion Stampotique stamps rock and I can't wait to share my creations with you!!!

My name is R.Maria Sabina aka Lollyrot here on the internet. I'm a young crafter , designer and blogger from Romania. I love making cards, 3D projects , tags and the list is pretty long. I love being part of this amazing Design Team and trust me, you will be amazed of our Design Team too! Different styles, a little bit for everyone. You can find more about me and my work over at Lollyrot Scrapbooking.

France Papillion

My name is France, but i live in Belgium with my hubby, our 2 kiddos, 2 white mares, dog and cats. My very first scrapping was for our wedding invitations, in 2000.
Full time mixed media artist since 2010, the mix of soft grunge, color and rusted or vintage embellishments are the main ingredients of my tags, books, altered art and art journaling.
To tell my story, I like to play with inky techniques. Rubber stamps are the perfect addition to those techniques. The designs, versatility and humor of Stampotique stamps made me fall in love with them 1,5 year ago and ever since, that love has only grown!

Nellie van Leeuwen

I’m Nellie van Leeuwen, I live in the Netherlands with my husband Harrie and our 3 doggies.  I started stamping about 10 years ago and I still love it! I called myself Dutchstamptramp because I like to “wander around” and try new techniques, colours and stamps all the time. I’m a member of the Stampotique designteam for a while now. I was very proud to become a member of this talented team and I still am. And needless to say I LOVE all my Stampotique stamps! This year my very first book about stamping was published and of course I’m very proud of that too. It contains a lot of Stampotique stamps.

Kim Howard- Design Team Coordinator

Hi Stampotique fanatics!  My name is Kim and I've been the design team coordinator for Stampotique for awhile now.  I fell in love with the quirky images years ago and love all the new artists that have been coming out with Stampotique.  My style is cutesy, I'm not one to get ink all over, but I do like to be challenged.  I'm a busy working Mom with 3 kiddos and married to my high school sweetie who is so great he takes my cards in to work to show off and sell off.  Looking forward to 2014 and watching the fan base continue to grow and see what you all are creating with Stampotique.

My name is Magda and I'm nearly 30. I was born in Gdansk, Poland but moved to the UK a few years ago. I live with my hubby and my two girls - Beagle and Hungarian Vizsla.
I have always been a crafty person. I love drawing and painting but recently mixed media and art journaling have won my heart. I love playing with colours and I always try to use a lot of layers in my projects.

I've been with Stampotique DT since August 2012 and it's a great honour to be a part of this amazing DT!

Gez Butterworth

Hi everyone, my name is Geraldine Butterworth but it normally gets shortened to Gez! I love to craft and create things with my hands and have enjoyed various arts & crafts since being a young girl. Like a lot of crafters I first got into paper crafting when my children were small and I wanted to record their mile stones as they grew so naturally I started scrapbooking. From there I made the leap to swapping ATC’s with friends, joined an online forum and things sort of snowballed! I have been very fortunate, to enjoy being a member of the Stampotique DT family for almost three years and can not wait to join the new Design Team of 2014! I love working with all of the different artists stamps produced by Stampotique and love to find new ways of using them. Exciting times ahead!

Congratulations to the new 2014 Stampotique Design Team and be on the look out for some great designers in 2014 as well!
